I am obsessed with the concepts of Beauty and Love, and with how those concepts are mediated by the idea of Race. Because I am interested in how the idea of Race effects seemingly primordial human concepts like Beauty and Love, I also become curious about Capital, the State, Land, Labor, Art, the Human, the Family, and Patriarchy. I am also interested in the stories that we have been told and we tell each other: the vehicles for our conversations about these ideas and the ways they carry the dna of these conversations without our notice. This then leads to Literature, Religion, and other aspects of Culture.
